Senior high school Chinese curriculum setting for most of the reading teaching, modern prose is emphasis and difficulty in the teaching of high school Chinese reading, students learn modern prose, is conducive to the students language accumulation and sense of language and thinking development. Although the modern prose reading in the theoretical research has been a certain development, but in the specific practice still needs to be improved, especially in the minority areas. As the focus of the high school in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, how to carry out the scientific reading of modern prose teaching, improve the quality of Chinese teaching, we need to further study.My paper use the Yanbian No.2 Middle School as the research object, with the sampling investigation, using the questionnaire survey method, interview method, observation method, the data analysis method of the modern prose reading teaching status of implementation of a system of understanding. The paper is divided into four main parts:the first part is the introduction part, mainly introduces the definition of the research problem of the proposed, the purpose and significance of the study, modern prose reading teaching research present situation, research scope and methods and main concepts. The second part is the theoretical basis, mainly introduces the high school language new curriculum standard of modern prose reading teaching, constructivist learning theory and the theory of reception aesthetics, emphasizing the importance of the modern prose reading teaching. Analysis and discussion of the third part is the core part of the thesis, modern prose reading teaching in the Yanbian No.2 Middle School present situation analysis, mainly from the survey, the basic situation of the modern prose reading teaching effectiveness and exist in teaching in three aspects. In the fourth part, the author puts forward some reasonable suggestions for the problems in teaching. According to the prose reading teaching of the Yanbian No.2 Middle School present situation investigation and analysis, we can find, in the Yanbian No.2 Middle School, reading teaching resources configuration is complete, system of collective lesson planning the implementation of effective, reading teaching and research activity carried out in an orderly manner. In the modern prose reading teaching process, the teacher adopts "group cooperative inquiry learning" teaching mode, the teaching contents focus on reading and writing practice combination, the use of flexible and diverse teaching methods, and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the students. After learning the modern prose, the students enhance their reading interest, stimulate the enthusiasm of the creation of the modern prose, and improve their ability of language expression. However, the modern prose reading teaching class arrangement is less, the reading teaching content development is not enough, the student’s extracurricular reading quantity is insufficient and so on, has affected the modern prose reading teaching quality to a certain extent. To solve these problems, combined with the teaching practice can be improved from the following three aspects:reasonable arrangements for schools teaching reading class, to carry out rich extra-curricular reading activities; teachers continuously improve their literary attainments and rich prose reading teaching content; finally students should be widely read books, expand their own reading, develop good reading habits, to understand the prose with life practice, in prose in the taste of life.The author hopes that, according to the investigation and analysis of modern prose reading teaching in the Yanbian No.2 Middle School, constantly enrich and improve high school Chinese Reading Teaching in practice in the field of theoretical research, minority area high school modern prose reading teaching to provide reference and reference.
