Research On The Implementation Method Of Sts Education In Physics Teaching In Senior Middle School

The new curriculum standard will improve the scientific literacy of all students as the general goal, the knowledge of the inheritance and application as the same important position. STS education aims to reveal the internal relations between science, technology and society, and pay attention to the practical application of science and technology. High school physics knowledge characteristics can explain many problems in the practical application, in high school physics teaching implementation of STS education is to cultivate students’ interest in learning, improve their practical knowledge and effective approach to solve the actual problem ability, is an important way to implement quality education.In this paper, literature research, questionnaire survey and interview as the main research methods. Through the analysis of research status, questionnaire survey and interviews found that students generally think that high school physics knowledge is not easy to understanding, is not easy to learn, the process of Physics Teaching in high school under the influence of exam oriented education is to impart knowledge mainly, ignore the physical knowledge and production, life, modern science and technology combined with. Lead to the theoretical study and practical application of the gap between the students lack of independent innovation awareness and innovation practice ability, etc. In view of the existing problems, combined with the advantages of STS education, put forward in high school physics teaching in the effective implementation of STS Teaching Strategy:in class mainly take the direct and independent and cooperative two STS teaching mode; extracurricular mainly take extracurricular activities and social practice two STS teaching mode. It provides a useful reference for the practice of STS education.Practice has proved that the implementation of STS education in high school physics teaching, can effectively improve the student’s knowledge ability and innovative thinking ability and the ability of innovation and practice, can effective practice of three-dimensional objects and the concept of the new curriculum, the effective realization of the development of science and technology of personnel training requirements.
