Hierarchical progressive teaching is a teaching idea formed in the study of the students’ Education in the Middle School of Shanghai city in 1989. It aims to recognize and utilize the differences between students. But in high school ideological and political lesson, the traditional class teaching system and students’ personal development still show great contradiction. Analysis of the specific operation of the ideological and political course in high school is of great benefit to our understanding of hierarchical progressive teaching and improve the effectiveness of high school ideological and political course teaching.High school ideological and political course in the implementation of tiered progressive teaching, not only has the thought of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, mastery learning theory, recent development area theory, teaching process optimization theory ideological and theoretical support, but also has important implementation and continuous improvement in practice trend under the background of the new curriculum reform.Implementation of the specific operation of the grading and progressive teaching in Ideological and political course in high school, students should be layered, layered to set up the teaching goal, hierarchical teaching, stratified evaluation and hierarchical control, correction improve five module. Through a questionnaire survey to collect students’ views on politics, exam oriented education enrollment rate of pressure, teachers on the concept of Principal Deputy Branch bound, the school heavy intellectual light moral influence the phenomenon to some extent hindered the implementation of grading and progressive teaching in the political class in high school.The delaminating and progressive teaching thought application in high school political lesson of, need by creating a "learning community", teachers to change their teaching ideas and improve their own quality, in Ideological and political course for prototype development of school-based curriculum effectively promote, thus changing the classroom, optimize the teaching, promote students’ development.
