Influence Of College Counselors Moral Quality Of College Students Moral Education

With the continuous development of science and technology, education has become more and more important, and moral education is the key work of it. Moral education has significant influence on college students’ healthy growth, which has an irreplaceable role in cultivating students’ innovative ability. At the same time, college counselors that have noble moral quality have positive effect on the formation of the college students’ moral quality.In this new era, The eighteenth conference of PRC explicitly put forward higher requirement and direction to moral education in university. Therefore, The moral quality improvement of College counselors team laid the foundation for training high-quality talents.This thesis firstly analyze and identify the related concepts:morality,moral character, counselors’moral quality component, college moral education, moral education, and then discuss the classification of component of counselors’moral quality. The moral qualities of the college counselors are divided into:personal moral character, family virtues, professional morality, social morality. This research explore counselors’moral quality component on the basis of previous studies of moral education.After further understanding of current college counselors’ moral quality, the thesis find out that college counselors’some shortcomings in dealing with job difficulties, family problems, professional and personal virtues. Through a great deal of questionnaire and data analysis, the thesis also points out that moral qualities inadequate, institutional constraints and social environment all lead to these problems.Finally, This thesis analyze current problems and come to some conclusions that strengthening cultivation of college counselors’ moral character improving the ways of moral education, and effective expanding way of the impact of counselors’ moral education on students are three vital factors to effective college moral education and the professionalization of college counselor in the future.
