Many teachers find much of their time devoted to classroom management. As times change, the type of student in any given classroom changes. More teachers report needing help with students who are non-compliant and verbally abusive to both peers and adults.Classroom management is a ingredient in the three-way mix of effective teaching strategies, which includes meaningful content, powerful teaching strategies, and an organizational structure to support productive learning. It is a complex set of skills that includes much more than being able to influence and control student behavior.Successful teachers employ strategies to establishing rules and procedures, to organize groups, to monitor and pace classroom events, and to react to misbehavior. Classroom management is the process by which teachers and schools create and maintain appropriate behavior of students in classroom settings. The purpose of implementing classroom management strategies is to enhance prosocial behavior and increase student academic engagement. Teacher,who want control the behavior of students, is the main body of classroom manage. At the same time,students and environments of school are all critical cause on classroom manage.Part one Modern research on classroom managementClassroom management is very important for teachers and students.More and more scientists did a lot of research on classroom management.and gave much advice on it.But there is less advice on ways for classroom management of private secondary vocational schools.Part two Survey of classroom management of private secondary vocational schoolsThis study is to investigate the present situation of classroom manage in private secondary vocational school.The aim of this study is to find the problem of classroom management in private secondary vocational school. During the survey respondents.include teachers and students, were asked to report any experiences and opinion on classroom management problem about school environment, teacher practices, and student behavior.Part three The resultsThe results of this investigation suggest that the reason for bad classroom management result mainly from teachers, but also from students and school environment.(1)The teacher’s structure is unreasonable.There are too many part-time teachers.The quality of teachers is too low.A lot of teachers are graduate students. (2)There is no formal shills training on classroom management for teachers. Research over the past few decades has consistently indicated that new teachers feel unprepared when it comes to classroom management skills,and that they are often unprepared to function successfully in today’s classrooms with regard to managing administrative tasks, curriculum, and behavior problems.(3)Teachers used to use single ways for classroom management.(4)The evaluation criteria of this school is not suit for the students to develop their overall quality.(5)Too many teachers rely on help of parents of students.(6)Most of the students are aimless.They have no clear study goals.They do not know what to learn and why should they come to the school.(7)Most of the students were bad behavior students of middle school.Most of them have feelings of inferiority. (8)Many teachers and students are not satisfied with the classroom and school environments.In a word lower-quality classroom instruction, disorganized classroom.school settings, and student social structures can all led to bad classroom management.Part four Advice for good classroom managementGiving rules to students who lack the skills and motivation to comply is ineffective. Contemporary children must be taught the nuts-and-bolts of the target behaviors. They also need to be convinced that education matters. Otherwise, rules and consequences will fail to elicit the desired behaviors from students who have no inclination to comply.In order to improve classroom management,we put the ways bellow into effect.(1)Adjust the structure of staff.hire more and more full-time teacher.(2)All teachers must accept skill training regularly.(3)Making good rules to improve the relationship between teachers and students.(4)Help students make clear study goals and solve psychological problems.(5)Improve the school and classroom environment to Improve learning interest of students.(6)Construct a systemic pluralistic evaluation standard for students achievement evaluation.At the end of this study,most teachers and students agreed that the classroom management of our school was improved.ConclusionTeaching can be a daunting endeavor-for both experts and novice teachers. It is a profession that requires the ability to be responsive to new demands and changing needs.Future directions indicate a need for preservice and in-service education on classroom management practices.High quality teachers and good evaluation standard for students are very important for classroom management.In addition, students psychological problems,school and classroom environment can not be ignored in good classroom management.Teachers’beliefs, knowledge, ideas, and practices with regard to classroom management are affected by the social context of the school and by teachers’contact with one another.Teachers need to attend professional development workshops that deal with management and behavior issues, or to learn on their own, seeking out books and materials that offer insight and support for dealing with behavior and management problems in the classroom.
