The mainly purpose of the study is to provide practical implications to seek for the ways for encouraging the Chinese learners with their learning motivation and developing their learning strategies by analyzing the detail situation and problems of current Chinese education of Dongnae Boys High School.This study is conducted mainly by survey and data analysis. The respondents were grade two students in Dongnae Boys High School who were leaning Chinese as their second foreign language and the Korea teacher who was teaching Chinese last year. The Korean high school is divided into ordinary high school, vocational high school, science high school, the international high school, foreign language high school and other professional high school. While secondary education schools in middle and high schools are divided into three types: boys’ schools, girls ’ schools and co-educational.Students in these three forms of school have different characteristics and the situation of learning Chinese is also very different. Therefore, the research and analysis of the characteristics of a single area school gender-specific groups is not only in line with the present situation and the needs of the Chinese education work, but also will be a great help to the subsequent Chinese teachers’ work.In order to grasping the current situation of Chinese Teaching in Dongnae Boys High School, the research methods and objects include: firstly, selecting three classroom which had 111 students that their performance was not significantly different. Then providing questionnaires that finally took back 107. Through the analysis of the questionnaire to summarize the current situation of Chinese teaching in Dongnae Boys High School. Secondly, carrying on the interview sound recording to the Korea Chinese teacher to further verify the Chinese teaching problems. Third,according to the author’s personal experience, putting forward countermeasures and suggestions from the perspective of mother tongue teaching.The main content of this thesis is divided into four parts. The first part of the introduction introduces the research background, purpose and significance, the research ideas and methods, research of China and South Korea on Chinese Teaching. The second part carry on the statistical analysis of Dongnae Boys High School from six aspects: learner characteristics, the course setting and arrangement,classroom teaching mode, the teaching contents and methods, Chinese teacher case,Chinese book through questionnaires, interviews. The third part for the problems raised by the second part presents the corresponding teaching strategies and suggestions which include from the aspects of attitudes, emotions and characteristics to improve the learners consciousness of Chinese learning, arranging scientific Chinese curriculum,exploring the ideal model of classroom teaching, enriching Chinese teaching content and methods, enhancing the Chinese and South Korean Chinese teacher’s Chinese tutelage, improving the relevance of Chinese textbook.
