The Art Appreciation Curriculum Development In High School

Museum is the place to collect and display culture entities of human beings. It is a cultural education institution classifying the objects of artistic, scientific and historical, which provide the public with the cultural knowledge. According to the type of the museum’s collection, exhibition and education activities, the museum can be divided into the art museum, history museum, and special museum, and other categories. Due to the different functions of museums, people may distinguish the museum from the art gallery. The author conduct the thorough research in the region of Hubei province.With the development of social economy, people pay more attention to their spiritual demand. In recent years, the rise of museum thesis has caused many education experts’thinking. Research on museum involve various disciplines of teaching and the value of the fine arts education is immeasurable. The focus of this thesis is different from previous ones and its main research direction is the introduction of western arts exhibition of museums, discussing different teaching types and education results.The first part analyzes the curriculum value of museum exhibitions and discusses the aesthetic education function of museum, as well as the necessity for the cooperation between museums of the school. The second chapter discusses the significance of the introduction of western arts exhibition in the curriculum resource development. In the third chapter of this article, the museum is regarded as important art teaching place to explore unique education resources in order to achieve different teaching goals.The last part is the prospects of the integration of teaching resources and museum exhibitions, hoping to set a good foundation for the future introduction of western arts exhibitions in museum.The appendix part mainly collects the available exhibitions and lectures in the region of Hubei, Beijing and shanghai, which provide basis for this article and further research.
