With the rapid development of Information Technology, many new learning methods in the field of education, such as Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), Blended Learning, Flipped Classroom, become more and more popular, teaching micro-video as the most important learning resources have gradually been concerned by researchers.The purpose of this study is to explore how to show the declarative knowledge in procedural knowledge teaching micro-video can be conducive to learning. This paper is divided into five parts. The first part includes research background, theoretical basis, the research status at home and abroad of procedural knowledge teaching and the presentation of micro-video, the structure of the study, at the last, this study proposes an question that whether procedural knowledge teaching micro-video presented declarative knowledge can be beneficial to learn. The second part this study analyzes online procedural knowledge teaching micro-video, and mainly analyzes the presentation time and ways of declarative knowledge in the procedural knowledge teaching micro-video, the purpose of this section is to understand the presentation style of declarative knowledge in online procedural knowledge teaching micro-video, and to provide practical evidence for the design of follow-up curriculum content and teaching micro-video. The third part writer use "USE PHOTOSHOP SOFTWARE TO MAKE GREETING CARDS" as an example to introduce how to design and develop procedural knowledge teaching micro-video which included declarative knowledge, finally this study develops four kinds of teaching micro-video, that is declarative knowledge before the procedural knowledge set, embedded presentation, declarative knowledge before the procedural knowledge set, stand-alone presentation, declarative knowledge after the procedural knowledge set, embedded presentation, declarative knowledge after the procedural knowledge set, stand-alone presentation. The fourth part a quasi-experimental study used in the actual teaching validates the four kinds of teaching micro-video how to impact the students’ cognitive load, learning satisfaction and learning effect, and finally the data analysis results found that declarative knowledge before the procedural knowledge set and stand-alone presentation caused relatively higher level of cognitive load, there were no significant differences on students’ learning satisfaction, declarative knowledge set after is more conducive to learning, and two ways of declarative knowledge presentation——embedded and stand-alone were no significant difference on learning outcome. The fifth part introduces the summary of the research results, the lack of research and the prospects for future research.This study trys to research the presentation type of declarative knowledge in the procedural knowledge teaching micro-video, the research conclusion can guide the design and development of procedural knowledge teaching micro-video in the future.
