The application of computer in all walks of life has grown into the normalization, "computer application foundation" course has become each higher vocational college must set up the public basic courses, this course aims to raise awareness of computer learner is learners master computer basic knowledge and basic concepts, basic using method of computer operating system, and skilled in the use of office software to solve all kinds of practical problems, have the ability to use computers in a stand-alone and network operating environment, and the computer security maintenance knowledge have a certain understanding.Along with the social informatization level is getting higher and higher, employers of college graduates of computer operation level requirements are increasingly high, level of computer operation ability has become measure a prominent sign of vocational college graduates, the course of basic computer application status is also rising. The vast majority of vocational colleges, the computer application foundation lesson teaching still used is the traditional teaching mode of the classroom teaching, operating room, for different majors, different levels of computer students, this teaching method has been to meet the needs of students, teaching quality and teaching effect cannot get effective protection. Therefore, it is bound to reform the basic teaching mode of traditional computer applications. Combined with my own teaching experience, open curriculum reform scheme of computer application basic course teaching method is put forward, seeks to activate inside and outside the classroom teaching, to cultivate students’ interest in learning, improve ability of computer operation.The research of this paper is based on the "computer application foundation" open curriculum reform teaching experiment project of Career Academy in Wuchang.60 first grade students were selected as the experimental subjects. Through the comparative study of the practical effects of the basic course of computer application, the paper gives a summary of the whole process of the implementation of the basic course of computer application.Through the study and research of open curriculum, combined with the characteristics of the computer application course, analysis and discussion of the experimental object, design a specific implementation scheme. And grouping test subjects before the experiment. At the completion of the experiment content is completed, through independent test and questionnaire, compared two groups of subjects of learning effect, In the learning process, according to the difference of effect of curriculum reform in the teaching process to compare the learning effect. To provide theoretical and practical basis of the results of this study on the future of open curriculum, has a certain reference value.
