With the intensive international competition, the basic education takes on important task in the 21st century. Art Education as Basic Education is an irreplaceable course, which is valued by more and more countries in the world. The new curriculum reform takes'Computer Art'into the curriculum system in the form of elective modules, enriching the high school art curriculum content, expanding the scope of the student elective.The Constructivism Theory widespread in China, which brings new thought for the reform of education and teaching in every aspect. In the art curriculum teaching research field, I consulted a large numbers of literature materials, but found the achievements are relatively few. As for the computer painting and computer design, the achievements are much less, not to mention the research on the thematic curriculum based on the perspective of modern educational theory. While I considered The Constructivism Theory will have a strong assistant in the adaptive methodology and quality improvement of computer painting and computer design. Because of this, on the basis of criticizing, inheriting the traditional art teaching mode and the other subjects on constructivism teaching mode, this article carries on adaptive quality education and the standard of art new course in the research of high school art computer painting and computer design teaching, which is based on the teaching practice and psychological characteristics of high school students. It uses the unique nature of the resource to help the students experience unique charms of computer painting and design in the artistic performance activities , increase the interest in taking part in the art activities, develop their imagination and creativity.This research is based on the new vision of the Constructivism Educational Theory. It researches the connection between teaching activities of the computer painting, computer design and the students'current cognitive level. It aims to create new conditions which make the new learning materials and the original cognitive structure of students interact, make a set of complete situation teaching courses for the students, and help them really understand and master the basic computer art skills in the process of independent exploration and cooperation. This is the core task of this study.
