The Guidelines of the National Program for Medium- And Long-Term Educational Reform And Development,proposed in March,2012,emphasizes the significant role of information technology played in education. Therefore,the researches about teachers’ teaching ability of taking advantage of information technology are indispensable.In order to have deep understanding of information technology teaching ability of tuition-free normal students, the author selects a tuition-free normal student from Tangle Middle School of Jinfeng District in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and studies on her by applying the qualitative research. The author researches the development and improvement of tuition-free normal student’s information technology teaching ability from different perspectives,such as interview,case analysis and observation. This thesis also contains the factors influencing the information technology teaching ability of tuition-free normal student. What’s more,the author puts forward suggestions to improve the information technology teaching ability of tuition-free normal student:strengthening the implementation of relevant national policies; improving the hardware facilities for information technology in school,reducing the workload of teachers,improve the mechanism for evaluation of teachers etc.
