Teachers’ quality is the core of education quality,In recent years,the policy of education made by our country and the problems of teacher education attract general attention to the teachers’quality.teachers’quality has became the remarkable topic.Coincided with Obama takes up the post of American president, in response to the economic crisis, the Obama Administration has passed a series of education reform policies, planning the blueprint of the reform of education. As one of the pillars of education reform,teacher education received a lot of attention.This thesis’purpose is to discuss the Obama Administration’s teacher policy,summarize its’main contents,conclude its’ main characteristics,analyze its’ positive effects and negative influence,all of this work has important significance and value for our countries’ teacher education reform.In this paper,documentation method and comparative study are mainly used for research the Obama Administration’s teacher policy.This paper consists of six parts, The first part is introduction,mainly introduce the research reason of the paper,this paper’s purpose and significance, core concept definition, research status review, research designs and methods;The second part mainly analyzes the background of the Obama Administration’s teacher policy;Part Three mainly summarize the main contents of the Obama Administration’s teacher policy;Part Four mainly concludes its’ characteristics;Part Five is the evaluation of the Obama Administration’s teacher policy;Part Six is the enlightenment of the Obama Administration’s teacher policy.
