To maximize teaching effectiveness, Classroom management needs to integrate various resources, to help to create atmosphere for learning in the classroom and to reduce the incidence of problem behaviors of students. After summarizing the previous literature, the following problems were found in classroom management: ignoring the decoration of the physical environment; rigid classroom teaching strategies, using uniform standardized curriculum design and progress; simple and crude way to criticize and educate students, without considering the sensitivity of high school students to the evaluation from others; Ignoring the construction of psychological environment in the classroom; the relationship between teachers and students is simply teaching and learning. Since the classroom management had the drawbacks of excessive rigidity, classroom management needs flexibility. Flexible classroom management should be student-centered. Based on research on psychology and behavioral pattern of student, teachers can use targeted classroom management strategies. Because high schools in rural areas still have a large proportion, this study will investigate classroom management of the rural high school from flexible management perspective and put forward the corresponding advice to improve classroom management.This article is divided into five parts; it can be summarized as follows:The first part is an introduction, including the issues raised, the purpose and significance, research methods, concepts defined.The second part is psychological characteristics and patterns of high school students;The third part is the literature review, including classroom management problems; effective classroom management strategies; flexible management theory and the current research on flexible classroom management.The fourth part investigates the current situation of classroom management in rural high schools from a flexible perspective. A questionnaire survey was conducted among the teachers and the students in F High School, Tianjin. By analyzing the result of the survey, classroom management in rural high schools has the following problems:the less use of flexible management theory for teachers in Senior 2; less class interaction; rigid classroom discipline management for teachers with 10-20year’s teaching experience.The fifth part is about the flexible classroom management advice of rural high schools, mainly including three parts:First, strengthening the quality of flexibility among Senior 2 teachers in classroom management, which is mainly discussed the strengthening of flexible management theory and the learning and training on high school students’ psychological and behavioral pattern; Second, flexible and multiple classroom interaction patterns for Senior 2 teachers should be strengthened, mainly from three aspects, developing the dialogue equality of teacher-student relationship, building a student-centered classroom teaching mode and building multiple interactive modes between teachers and students; Third, constructing more flexible classroom discipline management of the teachers with 10-20 year’s teaching experience, mainly from students’participation in making and carrying out classroom discipline, creating flexible and harmonious atmosphere in the classroom, implementing classroom discipline management through a firm and flexible way.
