Career decision-making self-efficacy is an important factor which affects the course of individual's career decision-making. It shows important theoretical significance and practical significance in understanding and solving difficulties in career decision-making and improving its quality. This research focused on the relationship among perfectionism, shyness, goal orientation and career decision-making self-efficacy. Data was collected by means of revised Chinese version of Frost's Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale(FMPS), Henderson's Shyness Questionnaires(SHY-Q), Button's Goal Orientation Questionnaire and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale(CDMSE)from 813 college students sampled from 3 colleges in Jinan. The major findings were as follows:(1)The total score of decision-making self-efficacy (CDMSE) and the scores of its subscales were belonging to the middle-high level, in which the scores of self-appraisal and occupational information were comparatively higher, the score of planning was comparatively lower. There was no significant difference in CDMSE between different genders, yet males'was slightly higher than females'. There was significant difference in CDMSE between different types of schools, with that students of vocational college selected in this research showed higher CDMSE than students of normal universities. In the vocational college, no significant difference in CDMSE between different grades was found, but in the latter it was. Student leaders'CDMSE was significantly higher than those none student leaders'. Students who had some part-time job experience scored higher significantly than those who had no. Between different socio-economic status, different origin areas and whether or not being an only child, no significant difference was found.(2)In perfectionism, personal standards(PS) and organization(O) were positively related to and could positively anticipate CDMSE, while concern over mistakes(CM) and doubt about actions(DA) were negatively related to and could negatively anticipate CDMSE. The correlation between parental expectations(PE) and CDMSE was insignificant. The practice of dividing perfectionism dimensions into positive perfectionism and negative perfectionism was supported.(3)Shyness was negatively related to CDMSE, and it's self-blame dimension could negatively anticipate CDMSE.(4)Learning goal orientation was positively related to and could positively anticipate CDMSE, while performance goal orientation had no significant relationship with it.(5)Positive perfectionism, negative perfectionism, shyness, learning goal orientation and CDMSE had pairwise correlations. Positive perfectionism and learning goal orientation could positively anticipate CDMSE, while negative perfectionism and shyness could negatively anticipate CDMSE.(6)Shyness could significantly moderate relation of negative perfectionism and CDMSE. Learning goal orientation could significantly moderate relation of positive perfectionism and CDMSE, but even could mediated between the above two variables significantly. Learning goal orientation also could significantly moderate relation of negative perfectionism and CDMSE.
