Rearch Of Civic Education In Ideological And Moral Lessons In Secondary Schools

Ideological and moral lessons in secondary schools occupy an important position in the ideological and political education of middle school students. However, for such a long time it has been questioned because it is ineffective and deviating practice. After carrying out the new curriculum reform, ideological and moral lessons in secondary schools show distinct features of civic education. Then how to grasp the value orientation of ideological and moral lessons in secondary schools? From the perspective of civic education, this paper try to make analysis and comparison between civic education and the value orientation of ideological and moral lessons, so that we can sort out their inner-relationship, which contributes a lot for upgrading and improving the value orientation of secondary school ideological and moral education. This paper mainly consists with the following three parts:The first part discusses the concept of "value orientation" and "civic education", trying to summarize the value orientation characteristics of western civic education in a dynamic process of development.The second part mainly focuses on the history of the secondary school ideological and moral course and the analysis of its current value in order to explore the value orientation characteristics of the secondary school ideological and moral education.The third part is a detailed analysis of similarities and differences between civic education and the value orientation of ideological and moral lessons, coming to a conclusion that civic education should be strengthened in ideological and moral education. And last is to propose measures to improve civic education in ideological and moral course from the perspectives of theory, policy, teacher, teaching, etc,.
