The Causes And Influence Analysis Of Inter-ethnic Marriage In Shihezi

China is a unified multi-ethnic country, and the relationship between different nationalities is very important for our country and nationalities. Harmonious ethnic relationship is not only benefit for the ethnic unity, but also more helpful for the stability of the society and the prosperity of our country. Inter-ethnic marriage is a way of measure to evaluate the national relationship, and it is also one of the influential factors to spread its ethnic culture and reproduce the population of nationalities. Because inter-ethnic marriage is not only reflect the relationship between individuals,but also reflect the attitude and evaluation the nationalities from couples to each other. Inter-ethnic marriage can promote the communication between the different ethnic groups through the contacts during their daily life, which become further harmonious development of the facilitating factors between different ethnic groups. Thus, it becomes many scholars’ researching project, which can be an important field reflecting the ethnic relations’ internal situation.According to population statistics in 2014, the total population is about 22.98 million in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, which includes 60% minorities. Xinjiang is a multi-national areas which taking Uyghur nationality as the main body. It is composed of 47 nationalities, which including 13 life-time residents. The research about inter-ethnic marriage in Xinjiang has taken shape, and relevant research claimed we have formed the northwest inter-ethnic marriage ─ “Xinjiang Ring”. However, the empirical study on inter-ethnic marriage of military city in Xinjiang is rare, and related documents are difficulty to find. The researcher who combined the process of the historical development in Shihezi, selected Nur Buck village for the point of the field. The writer analyzed the data on inter-ethnic marriage with having a visit of related department and combined the related theories of ethnology and sociology. The writer analyzed the inter-ethnic marriage’s real state in the village taking the inter-ethnic marriage family as the point-cut. We selected the objects of study with different ages, jobs and genders. We analyzed the actuality, the causes and the influence of inter-ethnic marriage using the questionnaire survey and personal interview.Combined with the existing research situation of cross-national marriage, the essay has the following features based on the previous research: firstly, we take the military city ─ Shihezi as the object of research. In Shihezi, there are much more Han nationality than the minorities. We did major surveys in Nur Buck village where minorities live in compact communities, in order to have a more comprehensive accurately reflection on the current state of the inter-ethnic intermarriage.Secondly, pay attention to the union of the theory and method of ethnology and sociology. Thirdly,pay attention to the factors of the religion, economy, ethnic culture, ages, genders and so on. The writer emphasized the elements of influence about the inter-ethnic marriage in Shihezi. Lastly, we make use of the typical research method in ethnology ─ interviews. When we analyzed the inter-ethnic marriage’s real state in the field, we realized the use of point to face, to see a large study in small ways. The essay is aimed at enhancing the understanding and the unity of each nationality, promoting the communication and the development of all nationalities. It is sure to contribute my pygmy effort for making the rational national policy and providing a well condition for the social stability and unity.
