The knowledge on electrical chemistry is one of the most significant parts in Chemistry courses in high school. Due to its unique logicality and extensive use in daily life, it plays an important and essential part in the status of discipline in the system of chemistry in high school. Electrical chemistry also has developed its own thinking methods and strategic systems, that’s unique to itself throughout the development of itself. Nowadays, the knowledge on electrical chemistry has been arranged in the third section of chapter three Chemical Energy and Electrical Energy arranged in Compulsory Two and in the fourth chapter The Basis of Electrical Chemistry arranged in Compulsory Four.Due to its high theoretical property and logicality, There still remain some problems in the process of studying and doing exercise among high school students. Based on electric-chemical knowledge related to this field, high school students’ abilities to settle electric-chemical problems are specifically researched in the issue, which is not only guided by constructive learning theories, the factors affecting the settlement of problems, the strategies of self-monitoring,meta-cognitive theories, etc, but also makes full use of the ways such as literature query, interview, questionnaire surveys,experiments and so on.The process of improving high school students’ abilities to settle electric-chemical problems is one of the most effective ways to cultivate students’ scientific inquiry abilities, which is not only goof for the process of students’ scientific inquiry abilities, but also benefits innovation learning and the cultivation of life-time study. In terms of Middle School Chemistry, study on students’ abilities to settle electric-chemical problems can do good to both learning this subject and be more beneficial to proper selections of teaching strategies to improve students’ logical abilities, which eventually promote the research on the integral construction of electric-chemical principles and conceptions and the learning qualities of improving electrical-chemical knowledge. In order to get to know the problems that exist in the process of learning and reviewing electrical chemistry, the present teaching situation when teachers on the front in high school teach this subject and the skills to settle electrical-chemical problems, questionnaires and the outlines of interview are at first make up by the learning situation, the settlement of exercises and the teaching situation of electrical-chemistry which are faced in the process of high school students’ chemical tuition and teaching practice. Secondly, Specific problem-solving strategies and teaching designs have been put forward after the analysis of the reasons for the former research results in this article. To test whether the strategies are effective, the writer has put some strategies into experiments in teaching which have made some progress in the end.
