| Primary school teachers in rural areas, especially young teachers, whose level of professional development will have a direct effect on the development of quality of the nation in the future. Due to the limit of educational resources, economic condition, the background of social culture and other factors, the whole level of professional development of primary school young teachers in rural areas is low and the process is in slow lane. If this problem can not be solved in time, will certainly affect the balanced development between urban and rural areas in China, will certainly affect the improvement of rural labor quality in the future and the construction of new socialist countryside. Therefore, research the problem of professional development of primary school young teachers in rural areas is like “when the arrow is on the string, it must goâ€.This study applies the integrated use of literature and investigation and relevant theoretical basis for support. It has a questionnaire survey for primary school young teachers in rural areas of Binzhou and a deep interview for some young teachers in rural areas, which mainly includes three aspects: professional knowledge(subject knowledge, educational and teaching knowledge, developmental knowledge of pupils, general knowledge), professional ability(teaching design ability, organization and implementation ability, incentive and evaluation ability, communication and cooperation ability, reflection and development ability), professional spirit(professional concept, professional attitude, professional emotion, professional will). And then finds existing problems and reasons of professional development of primary school young teachers in rural areas. The reasons are mainly analysed from society, school and young teachers. In the end, puts forward the countermeasures to promote the professional development of young teachers in rural primary schools.These countermeasures are also mainly analysed from three aspects which are society, school and young teachers. In society aspect, we should renew young teachers’ concept, increase government financial input and raise young teachers’ salary; In school aspect, we should do democratic management to provide excellent working and living conditions for young teachers; In young teachers aspect, we should enhance professional developmental consciousness and improve self value. This study is divided into five parts: Introduction, theoretical recognition of professional development of young teachers in rural primary schools, investigational analysis of professional development of young teachers in rural primary schools in Binzhou, existing problems and reasons of professional development of young teachers in rural primary schools in Binzhou, countermeasures to promote the professional development of young teachers in rural primary schools in Binzhou.Binzhou, in Shandong Province, is a typical agricultural and big city. Thus it can be also seen as a sample of professional development of young teachers in rural primary schools. |
