The Geometer sketchpad is better than other mathematical teaching software,because of it has many advantages, such as the simple interface, easy to learn, powerful mapping function and so on. It’s been loved by many frontal teachers deeply, no matter in our country or others, the Geometer sketchpad can be used to not only coursing teaching, but also problem-solving teaching. Teachers usually use the Geometer sketchpad to course teaching rather than problem-solving teaching. It’s try listing a few different math questions which assisted by the Geometer sketchpad to describe the Geometer sketchpad is good for math problem-solving teaching, by understanding of The New Curriculum Standard deeply, and in such an era that information technology develops rapidly, after analyzing and knowing the problem-solving teaching is important for here and abroad, In order to promote information technology assist math problem-solving teaching can keep pace with the development of the times, author want to study such a discourse about The Geometer sketchpad assist the math problem-solving teaching.The main content and key point in this discourse concentrate on the combination of these two sides that are math problem-solving teaching and information technology today in our country, author will discuss it in two aspects : firstly, author have looked through the related data, and on the basis of reading related data, author summarized the background and the evidence of subject study; secondly, author have listed a few typical questions about the Geometer sketchpad assisting the problem-solving teaching,and author attempt illustrating the Geometer sketchpad is good for the math problem-solving teaching in two sides of the theory and practice.The main conclusion of this discourse is that the Geometer sketchpad assisting the math problem-solving teaching can change the old and boring way of the problem-solving teaching to some extent, inspire the interest of students for math questions and the desires of students for exploring knowledge that’s beneficial to increasing the general quality of teachers.The main innovation point in this discourse is that author try to list examples of‘the Geometer sketchpad ’ assisting the math problem-solving teaching based on the middle school course, and make the best of ‘dynamic’ of the Geometer sketchpad, it’s meet the developing requirements, and the student’s development need to ‘the Geometer sketchpad’ assisting math problem-solving teaching.
