In today’s society, education with the person’s life, from the early education, basic education to higher education, from tutoring, English to the occupation education, study abroad, education has been run through every stage of our life. And, in the information technology the explosive growth trend, especially from the Internet to the mobile Internet, has subverted and changed many industries and fields, and education in the field of the same. Online education is E-Learning, as the name suggests, is based on the network as a medium of teaching content, method of communication and fast learning through the application of information technology and Internet technology. Online education has created across time and space to live, work and study mode, make the way of knowledge acquisition has become more diversified and personalized. Therefore, the combination of education and the Internet, mobile Internet is an inevitable trend of development.In this paper, through a comprehensive exposition of the education market, business model and market segments online on the one hand, can be given to those who have not yet entered or ready to enter the online education market, to provide online education products for professional opinion, shorten their business model to explore the time and avoid misunderstanding in the business model; on the other hand, the those who have long established online education company to new enlightenment in the profit model, in order to help them to develop new market strategy or operation mode, strengthen the competition advantage, against the new competitors appear or extend the competitors chasing time.This paper combines the theory and case, also uses the following research methods:First, the qualitative analysis and the quantitative analysis. This paper combines the two kinds of research methods, will maximize the use of the latest data to conduct the empirical study on the market structure, conduct and performance, and derive a reasonable conclusion, summarized the conclusion of scientific induction, the qualitative arguments, which reflects effectiveness and accuracy.Second, the combination of history and reality. This article will use the method of historical analysis, research on the development of online education industry from the angle of historical development. Analysis of practical problems, try to trace its historical origin of the reality behind the inner link, strengthen the reality and history. Review the history of the problem, try to consider the reality of the online education industry, sum up historical experience, in order to derive useful conclusions.Third, a point surface combined. In this study, will not only study the online education industry, China online education industry segments of the market structure, profit model, product development, will also be USA K12 international education company as a case, in-depth analysis, combined with through the way, trying to be more comprehensive display of the online education industry, reflects the comprehensive analysis research.
