New curriculum reform requires teachers to continuously correct their standpoints on curriculum and raises a new request on teaching ability. Teachers need to reflect on teaching in order to adapt to new curriculum reform to help themselves to realize transformation of teaching ideas and roles. Therefore, research on teacher’s teaching refection ability has become a hot issue in educational research.The essay sets S primary school in Huaxi District of Guiyang City as an object to analyze current situation and existing problem of teacher’s teaching reflection in current primary school through questionnaire research and interviews and come up with relevant improvement strategy.The essay mainly includes 4 aspects: the first part is describing the research background and research problem and then analyze the purpose, method and meaning, then states the relevant concept and theory foundation of teaching reflection by summarizing the thought on existing research through research of current situation on domestic and abroad; the second part is summarizing the current expressions and problems of teacher’s teaching reflection in primary school by analyzing the data collected during research and study; the fourth part is emphasizing the strategy and suggestion on upgrade of teacher’s teaching reflection ability in primary school. The research has a certain theoretical and practical significance on improving the teacher’s teaching reflection level and teaching quality in primary school.
