| Along with the rapid development of the whole society, China’s economic growth rate has also undergone a significant change, more and more obvious gap between urban and rural,urban wealth gap widening towards developing. In the process of social inclusion of low-income families because of the low, poor living conditions, lack of communication skills and other reasons, compared with the other members of the same age groups, the extent of mental health of children in low-income families, living conditions and other performance was not very optimistic, in a weak position.From the perspective of social work, taking the "mirror I" and benefits perspective on the theoretical basis, the use of literature interviews, combined with the method of work of the Panel C City Y low-income community confidence interventional families with children research. First introduced the intervention group work in the background, significance,research methods and related concepts; and abroad on urban low-income families with children self-confidence associated methods and typical cases of simple comments. The group work is targeted, participate and efficient, and the author try to help these children to build self-confidence, to gain a sense of belonging, to release negative emotions, to form a correct cognition, to learn social etiquette skills through the interpersonal communication thematic group.
