Middle school political teachers are the backbone of the ideological and political education in our country and are shouldering the special mission to cultivate students’ all-round development and to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political course. To certain extent, the political teacher’s charisma has a great effect on its effectiveness. In the background of the educational reform, it has been a new direction and strategy to ensure the ideological and political education to go smoothly. Therefore, it is of great significance for the promotion of students’ comprehensive development and further implementation of the quality education to explore the unique value of the personality charm of the political teacher in middle school, analyze and summarize the main factors affecting its development and propose the corresponding strategies for reference.The breakthrough for the full implementation of the qualify education is to improve political teachers’ personal ability. Therefore, it is indispensable to further study the characteristics, functions and promotion strategies of the personality charm of political teachers. This paper focuses on the characteristics, functions and promotion strategies of political teachers in middle schools. In the process of the research, the author refers to a large number of documents and makes an analysis and research by the combination of the characteristics of the discipline and on-the-spot investigation on the political course in middle school in hope that it could be easy to understand.First, to sort out the theoretical knowledge of the personality charm, and discuss its meaning and definition, which is treated as the theoretical basis. In addition, to make a summary of the definition and characteristics of the personality charm by the combination of the features of the discipline. On the basis of its characteristics, to systematically grasp the theoretical knowledge of the personality charm of political teachers in middle school.Second through the systematic grasp of the theoretic knowledge and combination of the results from the on-the-spot investigation, the author further explores the role that the personality charm of the political teacher in middle school plays in the ideological and political course from three angles: the teacher, students and the ideological and political course. Third, through scientifically random questionnaire investigation,to make an analysis of the main factors affecting the development of the middle school political teacher’s personality charm. For example, most teachers do not understand what is the personality charm. They do not pay attention to it. Their education concept is lagging. Their awareness of promoting teaching to be professional is weak and so on. Finally, in view of the problems affecting the development of middle school political teacher’s personality charm, under the background of the education reform, to study the promotion strategy of the personality of middle school political teachers. It aims to provide the reference value for the middle school political teachers’ self-development and self-improvement of personality in the new era.Of students’ overall development and construction of the effective ideological and political course. Furthermore, as for the problems affecting the development of middle school political teacher’s personality charm,this paper points out the new methods and new strategies for the promotion middle school politics teachers’ personality charm, namely to establish the people-oriented concept of ideological and political education, enrich the ideological and political teaching way, clear their own professional value orientation, strengthen the awareness of their own professional development, set up their own personality prestige and expand their knowledge field of vision. It points out that school should provide and create environments and conditions for teachers to foster the personality charm. schools should not only pays attention to the cultivation of students, but also attaches great importance to the cultivation of teachers. Furthermore, in the way of moral education in our country in the future, new ways and strategies for the promotion of middle school politics teachers’ personality charm. are further explored and studied.
