Badminton is a sport game, which collaborates confrontation, coordination, speed, endurance, skill and fun rolled. Because of its strong taste and skill, the popularity of badminton is increase dramatically at present. Badminton footwork training is an indispensable part of badminton teaching, when the hands technique of badminton has been very skillful, the speed of the ball and the ball is particularly important, as well as to determine how to run after the decision of coming ball and reflecting, the kind of footwork run has become the key to success, sometimes tend to move in step 0.0 seconds ahead of that time has been laid on the next shot advantage. Badminton hand techniques is the core element of badminton, badminton footwork is the foundation of badminton. Footwork training can not be ignored in the teaching process, raise the level of moving footwork have a dramatic effect on improving the quality of teaching of badminton.In this study, literature, expert interview, questionnaire, teaching experiment, mathematical statistics have been used to survey the training means of badminton players footwork. Selecting the most recognized foundation footwork by screening questionnaire, and collaborate with basic footwork, optimized footwork training will take teaching experiment. Select the Xi’an Institute of Physical 2013 Badminton special of 14 male students(second levels athlete) experiment, subjects were divided into experimental group and control group, the experimental group were screened footwork training means for training; the control group traditional gait training means training. By three months of training,the experimental group and control group subjects will take technology assessment before and after the training(subjective technology assessment : footwork movement of teachers to students performed scoring; objective technology assessment: Torx step displacement timing singles 21 points system game), physical fitness test(standing long jump, vertical jump Mogao), kinematic parameters of the test(with APAS for high-speed imaging of the acquired image data to stomp when kicking stride hip, knee, ankle instantaneous speed of operation) were analyzed.The results showed that after three months of footwork training, subjective technology assessment average score was 43.6 in the experimental group, and the control group was 40.3; in objective assessment of the technology, the average score of the shift meter step timing in experimental group was 48.03, 48.73 in the control group; singles 21-point game in the experimental group control group 3 8-4 4 wins and 3 losses. Physical Fitness Test standing long jump training in the experimental group improved by an average score 0.04 m, improve grade point average 0.01 in the control group; vertical jump Mogao experimental group the average score increase 1.57 cm, the control group, the average score increase 0.68 cm. Physical indicators test also higher. After three months of training footwork, all aspects of performance have greater improvement than control group which use traditional training means.It has been proved that selected footwork training means is better than traditional training methods.The following conclusions: 1. Optimized badminton Players’ Gait training method, including footwork agility drills: ladder training method, squared training method; footwork strength training: squat, deep jump, rope skipping, high leg lift. 2. Through comprehensive flexibility and strength training footwork, the evaluation of the experimental group than the control group had more cases significantly improved, the results more than the control group, indicating footwork training with strength training exercise is more effective. 3. The optimized training methods than traditional training means lifting more motivated students.
