Retirement age, one of the important issue as the field of basic pension insurance, areold-age insurance system has been the most talked about content. Retirement age do not onlyaffect the lives of nationals of the pre-retirement, also affect the national post-retirementstandard of living. Therefore, raising the retirement age for both macroeconomicconsiderations, but also microscopic analysis, in order to achieve optimal results.In this case of the current retirement system, the domestic scholars study the retirementage, learn from developed countries related to reform. Raising the retirement age is necessary,and issues arising from the low retirement age to start the feasibility of the delayed retirement.A serious contradiction between China’s aging population and sustainable development of thepension insurance system, resulting in a waste of human resources, increasing pressure onpension payments, retirement inequity negative impact on the existing retirement systemposes a challenge. Raising the retirement age is an effective way to alleviate these problems.Retirement reform, both negative and positive aspects of the relative effect of raising theretirement age. The pressure on the employment of young people has always been opposed toretired. The vast majority of manual workers opposed to the retirement age back, I hope toretire early and enjoy a relaxed life. However, from the macro analysis, increase theretirement age for the full utilization of human resources, ease the pension payment pressurehas a positive effect. Therefore, in the retirement reform, policy formulation should avoid thenegative utility to delay retirement to ensure its positive effects. In this paper, voluntary andequitable principles of reform that should carefully select the timing, and gradually raising theretirement age, the implementation of progressive reforms. Within reasonable limits, we canuse the implementation of a flexible retirement system. Social security departments shouldstrictly apply for retirement, and effectively perform its regulatory duties.
