Study On Sustainable Development Strategy Of YS Company

Energy industry is the leading industry in the economic and social development, energyproblem has become an important issue in today’s world., people pay more and more attentionon it. The coal industry is a basic industry of China, it plays a vital role on the development ofChinese social energy supply, and also it has an important influence on the economicdevelopment of China. In this paper according to the background of the fossil energy shortage,increasing environmental protection and strict energy-saving awareness, this paper is closelyrelated to the sustainable development of large energy companies YS Energy Limited in thecity of Yulin area. Combing the theory and practice, this paper discusses the futuresustainable development strategy of YS energy limited liability company.In this paper, the author introduced the present and the development of the concept ofsustainable development, theories of enterprise strategic management, as the theoretical basisof this thesis. Based on development process, the company organization, current development,it analyzes the external macro environment, the competition situation, with the guidance ofPotter’s five forces model analysis tools, Also it analyzes the advantage, disadvantage,opportunities and threats of the company by using SWOT, laying the foundation to thesustainable strategy,. Then, combined with the development status and resource situation ofYS company, this paper proposed the sustainable development strategy of the company. Itpoints out the strategic deployment and strategic focus. Meanwhile this paper discusses thesupport system from the resource, talent, innovation, culture and so on. Then it expounds theconcrete measures for the company’s sustainable development strategy including the coalindustry, electric power industry and coal chemical industry.This study has a guiding role for YS company to clear the advantages anddisadvantages and develop sustainable development strategies. Also it has some referencevalue for the sustainable development of other resource type enterprises.
