With the rapid development of computer technology and communicationnetworks, Internet-based products and services are constantly emerging. New Internetproducts can meet the consumer’s demand better, which is becoming more diverse andpersonalized. Compared to the traditional software technology, Internet technologyintegrated with other technical professionals more closely, which has formed a greatpotential to provide consumer with efficient and quality service. High-tech enterpriseby virtue of their technical superiority can find more opportunities in the field ofInternet, but also facing unprecedented challenges. More and more high-techenterprises has entered the Internet industry, thus the fierce market competitionenvironment put forward higher requirements on business R&D system. Newdemands of consumer is uncovered, leading to the increasing difficulty of the productdevelopment, so companies must find the balance between the progress, quality andcost of product development. However, the common problem of traditional softwarecompanies are not allowed to grasp the rapidly changing needs of consumer. There isnot necessary business reviews during the product development process. Besides,functional R&D organization general restricts enterprises to give full play to theirown advantages in product research and development. Therefore, high-techenterprises must overcome these negative factors and bring their superiority into fullplay in order to achieve a favorable competitive position.X Company, as a high-tech enterprise, is also faced with many problems in thefield of Internet. The existing market management mechanism has been unable toprovide information resources support for the rapid product development process.Companies ever more concerned about the sales channels, while analysis andunderstanding of the market is obviously insufficient. Traditional functionalorganization structure is not conducive to the operation of the new parallel productdevelopment process, and it is difficult to reconcile the interests of different sectorsand the overall objectives. Moreover, the technical problems encountered in theproduct development process also make the progress of the development repeatedlypostponed, which seriously affect the company’s market image. Thus, finding amature, successful product development method is the key to solve the problem.Begin with analysis of the characteristics of the industry, the market environment, and their specific circumstances, the thesis analyze the issues faced by the companysuch as long product development cycles, high risk and unimpeded communicationbetween departments. The thesis also investigated other problems related to entiredevelopment system in the workflow, organizational structure, technicalmanagement, marketing and other aspects of the management. Solutions have beenproposed through the basic principles and tools of integrated product developmenttheory.
