New Product Development Management Process Improvement Based On IPD Theory

H Company is a Server manufacturing enterprise.This paper based on Management theory,focus on R&D management,analyze its issues on the organization structure,R&D process and performance management,such as communication problem of different department,incomplete procedure and ignorance of stuff's needs.And then prove reengineering with IPD(Integrated Product Development)theory is the best choice for H Company,and provide the improvement plan in details,add Product Management Department for organizational innovation,build IPMT and PDT,add DCP and TR to complete the procedure,execute asynchronous development and push sharing platform construction,also add rules for performance management and new-hires training,also take A+ project for example to show the improved product development management system including Concept,Plan,Development,Validation,Deployment parts,as well as the Milestone design.At last,describe the implementation process and do procedure evaluations,especially for the success in minimize duration and expenses of product development life-cycle part.Hope it will be helpful for other companies in R&D management.
