After developing more than half a century, China’s autoindustry has become apillar industry of the national economy. Since2009, China has occupied the world’ssales champion for five years and became the world’s largest car market. In2013, theproduction and sales both exceeded2million. There is still a big gap between ourcountry and the average level of the world on car ownership per capita, so China’sautomarket has a great potential demand. On the other hand, the automobile industry ofChina is facing with transnational threats and challenges. In such a competitive marketenvironment, if China’s automobile enterprises want to survive and develop, it is veryimportant to cultivate and promote its own core competitiveness. To enhancecompetitiveness, the premise must have a clear cognition to its own competitiveadvantages and disadvantages. Based on the domestic and foreign research resultsrelated to enterprise competitiveness, this paper uses AHP to constructe automobileenterprises core competence evaluation system, and to calculate the weight ofimportance to the core competence for every index according to the judgment matrix.According to the weight size, the effect of enterprisescale economy and technologyinnovation is obvious.
