Customers’ demands for quality are getting higher and higher as their awareness ofquality increases, so continuous quality improvement become the eternal theme ofenterprise development. Nowadays, enterprises must constantly improve the quality ofproducts and services to meet customers’ expectations and requirements in anincreasingly competitive market, meanwhile, in the process of which, enterprises shouldminimize its losses and reduce quality cost as far as possible. Continuous qualityimprovement means that quality improvement activities should be carried outcontinuously. Enterprises, by virtue of continuous quality improvement withbreakthrough effect, can break through the original quality level to a new quality level,and gradually solve the deep-seated problems of enterprises in the production process.Through quality breakthrough, the enterprises will constantly improve the quality ofproducts and services, reduce the loss of quality, lower the cost of quality, and enhancethe competitive capacity of the organization. Consequently, enterprises could get highercustomer satisfaction and efficiency during the process and improve their economicbenefits, creating opportunities for the development of enterprises.In the first two parts of this thesis, based on the analysis of related research aboutquality cost and continuous quality improvement at home and abroad, the author putforward breakthrough effect of continuous quality improvement and discussed therelationship between quality cost and continuous improvement, which established thetheoretical foundation for further research. In the third part of the thesis, the author firstlyanalyzed the model of traditional quality cost and criticized its inaccuracies, then raised modified model of continuous quality improvement and demonstrated the breakthrougheffect of the continuous quality improvement.The fourth part of the paper is based on thebreakthrough effect of the continuous improvement of the quality cost, and the authordiscussed the breakthrough effect of continuous quality improvement from individual togeneral. Firstly, the author talked about the motivation of enterprise’s continuousimprovement, then constructs the model of continuous quality improvement and putforward the implementation procedure of continuous quality improvement. Enterprisesachieve breakthrough effect of continuous improvement by continuous improvementactivities and guaranty mechanism.Breakthrough effect of continuous quality improvement is of great significance forthe sustainable development of enterprises. In this thesis, the author criticized thetraditional model of quality cost, highlights the breakthrough of the continuousimprovement effect through the model building and combination of quality cost andcontinuous improvement. The limitation of traditional quality cost model lies in the factthat enterprises ignore the intangible loss caused by customer dissatisfaction and qualityproblems, so enterprises must carry out continuous improvement. The purpose of thisthesis is as follows: Based on the study of continuous improvement breakthrough effect,firstly, it would help to promote enterprises carry out continuous quality improvementactivity; Secondly, it could provide a new mentality for the quality improvement,contributing enormously to the enrichment and perfection of the theory of qualityimprovement; Thirdly, it could also provide enterprises with quality improvementmethods that is suitable for their own, contributing to the development of theory andpractice of quality management.
