Study On The Development Mechanism And Associated Factors Of The Manufacturing Industry’s And Logistic Industry In Shaanxi Province

Manufacturing industry is a pillar industry of the national economy, as an important relyon economic development, it’s the main channel of China’s urban employment and theconcentrated reflection of the international competitiveness. The logistics industry as the thirdindustry, its development is a very important role to increase jobs, people’s living standard,improve industrial structure and transformation of the mode of development plays. Butcompared with the manufacturing enterprises, shaanxi logistics enterprise is quantity、smallscale、weak, logistics enterprise is in s weak position in the middle of the two industry linkage,the ability of the dominant industry linkage is relative weak from the point of the compositionof the integrated body. In the aspect of subject unit and object unit, comparing two industry,logistics enterprises are weak in manufacturing enterprise.This paper firstly introduces the four theories of manufacturing and logistics industrylinkage development: supply chain theory, industrial linkage theory, the core competition andsynergetics theory, on the basis of analyzing the basic situation of manufacturing industry andlogistics industry in shaanxi province, including the industrial structure of shaanxi provinceand its layout characteristics, the manufacturing industry in shaanxi province economicsituation, shaanxi manufacturing logistics present situation, the characteristics of the layout ofthe logistics industry in shaanxi province, the operation of the logistics industry in shaanxiprovince, shaanxi logistics enterprises and the development situation of shaanxi logisticsinfrastructure. Then using grey model GM(1,N) to study the mechanism of the two industrylinkage development of shaanxi province, it is concluded that the development ofmanufacturing in shaanxi itself does not have a certain ability, logistics is not the obvious rolein promoting the development of manufacturing industry; the development of the logisticsindustry itself have a certain ability, manufacturing has a certain role in promoting thedevelopment of the logistics industry. Then using grey correlation model to study the relevantfactors of manufacturing industry and logistics industry in shaanxi province in order tounderstand what index is more important to its development. it is concluded that formanufacturing industry, asset-liability ratio, total assets contribution and cost efficiencyranked the first three; for the logistics industry, highway mileage, warehouse mail completed infrastructure investment and freight turnover ranked the top three. Last for shaanxi provincetwo industry linkage development putting forward policies and suggestions as well as theconclusion and prospect.
