Since the reform and opening,our economic developed rapidly and have maderemarkable achievements in word. However, unbalanced regional economicdevelopment is more and more prominent in developing area. There is a gap with thedeveloped areas in less developed areas on industrialization process and urbanizationand industrial structure. The widening gap of rich and poor and lack of social fairness,social instability phenomenon caused by unbalanced regional economic developmentis growing. This will inevitably affect China’s economic development process. It is aprofound issue in China’s economic development to rely on the innovation oftechnology for achieving economic take-off. As a main body in undeveloped area,enterprises in less developed areas go the road of transformation from imitation toinnovation with the help of their own advantages. And it will be a shortcut to solve theproblem.This research Is divided into eight parts. The first chapter shows background andsignificance and content and frame methods and possible innovation points ofresearch. The second chapter is the literature review on the imitations and innovationsand transiton from imitation to innovation at home and abroad. The third chapterdefines the definition of imitation and innovation, and shows secondary innovationand organizational learning mode, and finally shows general mechanism ofenterprises’ transition from imitation to innovation in developing areas. The fourthchapter analysis the economic characteristics and urgency and rationality andinfluencing factors of enterprises’ transition from imitation to innovation in thedeveloping areas.The fifth chapter is the theoretical assumptions and hypothesistesting with structural equation model. The sixth chapter is a case analysis ofenterprises’ transition from imitation to innovation in developing area, taking hengruimedicine co.,ltd. for example. The seventh chapter gives suggestions for governmententerprises and to finish enterprises’ transition from imitation to innovation indeveloping area. The eighth chapter is research conclusion and propect. This researchexpect to reveal the rules about enterprises ‘transition from imitation to innovation inless developed area and find its path mechanism and has a certain referencesignificance for less developed area.
