Research On Technological Learning Of Foreign Joint Venture Enterprises In China

Foreign direct investment in the joint venture and cooperation as the link, which has become an important mode of enterprises development, is the national main body of technology transfers and technological innovations. Technical knowledge has become the key to competitions of enterprises. A new topic which the theory and practice must face is how to acquire technical knowledge and how to continuously enhance their technological capability. This paper focuses on technical learning problems of enterprises and transnational corporations in the joint venture in China, using Evolutionary Economics, case studies and other research methods. Through situation analysis on the technology learning of the joint venture enterprises, the paper reveals the progress of research and problems in the field to provide some suggestions for technical studies in Chinese enterprises.In this paper, against the background of economic globalization , accesses and upgrading from the introduction of technology to technical capacity between developed and developing countries, is not an automatic process, relying on high-intensity technological learning, enterprising spirit of the corporate strategy and unswerving will of the states. The growth of technological capacity can not be separated from the process of learning which technology and product development carried out. The trajectory of evolution in the technological capacity of Chinese enterprises is: through technology imports, high-intensity reproduction of technological learning developed to the imitating capacity, to creatively imitating capacity, and finally formed the capability of independent innovation.In the introduction of technology and learning process, according to the actual situations of industries and enterprises, including their own characteristics and technical capacity, our businesses choose a suitable target to build an effective platform of the development of technological capacity, and ,committed to the development and nurtured the technical capacity of enterprises, especially their core technology system, building up and improving their overall innovation capability. The government should strengthen the strategic research on investment of multinational corporations, strengthen its own innovation system of strategy development, encourage transnational corporations to set up R & D institutions in China to provide financial support for enterprises innovation and increase the intensity of the development of human resources, etc.
