With the development of international trade and economic globalization, the competition in the logistic industry is becoming more fierce. In order to deal with this situation, Chinese logistics organizations have to pay attention on Human Resource Management. In particular, the research of employee performance management should be attached with great importance.The YRCD Company was established in2008. The company runs its business on several parts of the field of logistics, such as wholesale, process, traffic, storage, logistics, quarantine, imports and exports traded E-business. However, because of the fast development of the company, a great number of talents are required for the internal management. Thus, the lack of talents has become a serious problem to limit the development of the company.This paper mainly used documentary analysis and case analysis. On one hand, the first-hand information was collected from local investigation and interviews with the YRCD Company. On the other hand, the author of this paper fully learned the knowledge of performance management at home and abroad. In this sense, this paper began to research the employee performance management of the company.First of all, this paper introduces different theories of PM, which includes the concepts of PM, the process of PM and the methods of PM.Secondly, until recently, in spite of that the YRCD Company already achieve great successes in its industry, there is still a gap, which needs to be narrowed.Thirdly, the reasons that cause the problems of the YRCD’s EPM system are analyzed through the methods of MBO, KPI,360-degree feedback and so on. Meanwhile, based on the6PM’s, processes the EPM system of YRCD is also analyzed in this paper.Lastly, through the design and implementation of PM, the system of YRCD is improved, and the problems are pointed out. At the same time, the explanations are introduced. In the first step, the internal management system of the company should create a suitable EPM system for the development. Meanwhile, the organizational culture should also be involved in this creation. After this, through the research on the YRCD Company, several suggestions also are provided for the performance management of agriculture products logistics.Recently, the EPM research of Chinese agriculture logistics industry still stays in an exploratory stage. Thus, this paper focuses on the EPM annalists of the YRCD Company. Hopefully, this paper could contribute to the EPM development of Chinese agriculture logistics industry.This paper takes the advantages of the systematic PM theories and PM methods. It not only analyzes the problems of the design of EPM and processes of EPM, but also point out the solutions for the implementation of EPM policies and the creation of EPM system. Hopefully, this paper will have a good reference for the modern management of human resources.
