The Study On The Development And Counter Measures Of The Logistic Industry In Changchun

Logistics is part of supply chain activities. It meets the customer’s demands of goods, services and relevant residence flowing from origin to consumption efficiently, and with low cost in circulation and storage. Logistics greatly support and push the economy as an common and important economy activities. As an important industry part in the social economic activities, logistics industry has been increasingly becoming the "third profit source" in the world, especially in the developed countries. The great development of modern logistics industry is not only beneficial to the optimization of industry organization and the allocation of resources, it also promotes the development of the third industry. What’s more, it can bring improvement of the investment environment and attract investment. At the same time, the gradual development of logistics industry promotes the formation and progress of local market, drives the employment, and greatly improves the operation quality and benefits of national economy.In recent years, with the double-wheel drive from the opening-up and the economy development, the logistics industry in Changchun city has achieved a big development, with the number of the enterprise increased, the industry scale enlarged and the strong economic contribution gradually. However, issues like high logistic cost, low logistic level and low-level equipment becomes apparent. There are contradictions between the lack of socialized demand and the insufficient specialized supply,"bigger" logistic industry and "smaller" logistic cost, complex business owners and market disorder, individual system of the various types of infrastructure and the overall efficiency, green logistic and saving cost, modern logistic development pattern and the current institutional policies. All these contradictions bring negative effect on logistics industry in Changchun city. Nowadays, Changchun city is experiencing a transformation from the traditional logistics industry to a modern one.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part introduces the research background, research purpose and significance, research thinking, methods and the framework content of the paper content. In the second part, the author describes some related concepts with logistics industry, such as logistics, logistics system, supply chain, modern logistics industry and logistics industrial cluster, which provides the theoretical background for the later parts. The following part analyses the current situation of the development of the logistics industry in Changchun, such as the structure and current situation of the logistics industry in Changchun, logistics market demand, the prediction of the future trend of logistics in Changchun, the logistics characteristics of the key industries.Based on the above content, the forth part presents the principle and development strategy of the modern logistics industry in Changchun. Finally, this paper puts forward the main countermeasures of development of the modern logistics industry in Changchun.
