With the global economic downturn, as well as increased cost for business operations,production, labor and other cost year after year, A e-factory has already entered a downturn.In order to enhance their own competitiveness, A e-factory must conduct internalperformance reforms. And the focus of the reforms is the performance management for thefront-line workers.The research has applied the balanced scorecard made a four-dimensional analysis onthe performance evaluation system of the frontline workers for A e-factory. And on thebase of the corporate strategy we make the conclusion that the performance appraisalsystem has disjointed from the corporate strategy. In addition, this paper make an analysison the whole process of the performance management issues for the frontline workers byapplying the performance management theory, also make a file survey on performancemanagement to find out the voices and views of frontline workers.According to the current problems of the performance evaluation system for frontlineworkers that we got from the research, we make an improvement design by applying thefour-dimensional theory of the balanced scorecard, and make a recalculation for the indexweight of the performance evaluation system by applying the DPS data processing systembased analytic hierarchy process. And finally, in order to ensure the implementation of theimproved performance system, we put forward some protection measures.
