The principle of spatial justice is an essential requirement and value orientationof the new urbanization. As the pilot city of the comprehensive reform of urban andrural integration in Jiangsu Province, the national point of contact of thecomprehensive reform of urban and rural integration, and the National ExperimentalZone of the rural reform, Suzhou, in the process of the previous comprehensivereform of urban and rural integration, through the practice of the householdregistration, social security, basic public service supply,” three focus”,” threesubstitution" and "three cooperation", ecological compensation system reform, hascreated a powerful system of protection for Suzhou people’s fair and equitablesharing of the results of urbanization,and also provides experience for other places.However, facing the requirements of new urbanization, Suzhou is sufferingmany challenges, such as the management issues of significant foreign population,re-employment problem of landless peasants, the citizen of farmer changes,environmental crisis, the plight of land resource utilization. It is a new problem abouthow to achieve the spatial justice. Suzhou can promote the institutional innovation ofthe citizen of farmer changes, containing household registration system reform,social security reform and building the public education system. Also Suzhou needsto improve the employment service system and environmental protection system, andpromote scientific land use planning system. Through these system reforms, Suzhouwill promote the practice of new urbanization, and achieve the spatial justice.
