Enterprise Justice: The Soul Of Building Chinese Century's Standing Enterprises

Modern enterprise is not only an important economic units of society, but also one of the main contributors of modern civilization. However, there is a proverb of" the rich not lasting for three generations ", which almost become a "Curse" to all enterprises. Faced with such a harsh reality , the author, based on my working experiences and theoretical research, believes that if any enterprise hopes to escape that curse to reach a sustainable development, that is, building a Century's Standing Enterprise, it must take the Enterprise Justice as its core values so as to lead the enterprise to a healthy development.Justice, as the core value of a society, is always a theoretical reflection of human beings'worries and dissatisfies toward present social relationships and life conditions and their willings to change the situation. The kernel of Justice lies in the social distribution of individual's rights and responsibilities. As a reflection of social justice and economic justice in its activities of enterprise, Enterprise Justice is a social inquire to the enterprise about whether the live mode of the enterprise and its economic relationship with other enterprises are reasonable or not. It shows moral principals and political rules that regulate and restrain the activities of enterprise so that it may reach the aim of promoting the economic development of both enterprise and society, and the full development of human beings. It integrates the economic responsibility, social responsibility and moral responsibility of enterprise as a whole.The logical structure of the paper is that, it firstly states the basic theory of enterprise including the meaning of enterprises, the aim of enterprises, the life-cycle theory of enterprises and the theory of harmonious enterprise. Secondly, it elaborates intensively the basic contents of a Century's Standing Enterprise, proposing three justice systems for building a Chinese Enterprise of a Century's Standing. They are:①the justice system of organization, which is involved in the issues on team work---the people's cohesion issues;②the justice system of civilization, which is involved in the issues on the value orientation of enterprise - the problem of spiritual motivation;③the justice system of institution, which is involved in the issue on the rights and responsibilities of enterprise and the scientific management. Among these three justice systems, the justice system of organization is the premise, the justice system of the civilization the foundation and the justice system of institution the safeguard to building Chinese Enterprises of a Century's Standing. In one word, they depend on each other mutually. Meanwhile , it states that enterprise justice is of great value in such aspects as economy, society, culture and so on. Then, the paper separately reveals some common problems of some enterprises from the perspective of three justice systems that is the reasons why some chinese enterprises can not develop into a Century's Standing Enterprise. Finally, the paper presents a number of specific measures with the aim to build Chinese Enterprise of a Century's Standing from the perspctive of three justice systems, which includes creating a justice and reasonable environment of the organization, establishing a "people-oriented" justice enterprise civilization and building a clear fair institution on the rights and responsibilities of a justice enterprise.
