In today’s complex competitive environment, the importance of employees’innovative ideas and reasonable suggestions to the survival and development ofenterprise organizations became more and more prominent. We used questionnaires to200employees as samples to analyse the impact of the organizational structure andsupportive organizational climate on employee voice. The results showed thatcentralization of the organizational structure had a negative effect on promotive voicebehavior, while the effect on prohibitive voice behavior was relatively small. Theresults also indicated that normalization positively affected employees’ voice behavior. It was also found that perceived coworker support had a significant positive effect onprohibitive voice behavior, and perceived supervisor support had a positive effect onboth promotive and prohibitive voice behavior. In additoion, specifically, we alsofound that the supportive organizational climate partially mediated the association oforganizational structure and voice behavior.
