Research Of City Network Related To China New Urbanization

In recent years, with the development of specialized division of labor, China’s intercity industrial cooperation is deepening, the interaction between the towns is becomingmore frequent, city network evolved in some developed regions of our nation. And thestudies of urbanization in the past were used to talking about longitudinal linearrelationship between the city, which were ignoring the inherent links between city.Therefore, it is necessary to research based on city network theory, exploring newurbanization path which meeting to our nation’s situation, to develop more targetedcity planning and industrial distribution policy.This paper summarized the relevant research results of the development ofurbanization from the view both of domestic and foreign, reviewed the urbanizationprocess of China from1949, and described briefly the environment, cause and effect ofurbanization development in each period. At the same time, according to the specificsituations when putting the following three urbanization models of big city, small cityand small town, city groups into practice, this paper had a discussion focused on whichway of urbanization China should choose, and pointed out our country were in adilemma, so we should take a new road to urbanization. Then, after this study lightedupon the interpretation of new urbanization as well as the overall objective of theecological civilization, public service, industry layout, city link between urban andrural, and other aspects of the connotation, we put forward that our country shoulddevelop city network in the new urbanization, and described the structure of citynetwork and evolution mechanisms. Through the different choices of micro enterprisesin different stages and its industrial transfer to explain the internal structure formationof city network. After the analysis, this paper cited city network in Holland ToddLance area and Pearl River Delta region as example to prove that city network plays apositive role in promoting sustainable development of our economy, optimize theindustrial structure and layout, and put forward some policy suggestions to ourcountry’s urbanization construction.
