The chemical industry is pillar industry which plays a critical role in ourcountry economic development. Technological innovation powers mainly thechemical company to drive the chemical company development, however, technicalstaff is primary force to innovate in technology. Q company is a part of chemicalindustry whose development relies on ability of technological innovation and thecreativity of technical staff determines the technological innovation of entire company.Therefore, the research task in this thesis is how to improve staff technologicalinnovation capability. To confirm the relationship technological innovation behaviorand incentive factor, the staff innovation behavior is studied from the side of incentivefactor.Based on the review and synthesis of the technology innovation theory andincentive theory, the model of incentive factor is constructed for technical staffinnovation behavior studying on Q company technical staff. The model includes11incentive factor items of innovation behavior and the measurement of innovativebehavior adopts Janssen nine-item scale to study on the influence of incentive factorto staff innovative behavior.Through questionnaire survey to technical staff in Q company, the survey datais obtained by SPSS software. This study applys variance analysis, factor analysis,correlation and regression analysis etc. to analyze survey data. Firstly, proceed tostatistical description of background information, innovation behavior scale andincentive factor scale among staffs. Secondly, extract the three factors of motivationand three stages of innovative behavior and analyze the reliability of these factors.Personal development and growth factor, innovative atmosphere and interpersonalfactor and work environment and reward is extracted from whole incentive factors. The establishment of the problem, seek support and innovation productization ofinnovative behavior is extracted from innovation behavior scale. Take the varianceanalysis to gender, age, education, position, service year of staffs if it is distinctivebetween incentive factor and innovative behavior. Finally, it is analyze to incentivefactor and technological innovation behavior by correlation and regression analysisand established regression equation. The result shows that there is a significantcorrelation between them. Based on regression equation, each dimension of incentivefactor has a significant positive correlation with innovative behavior.According to statistical data analysis, it is pointed out the incentive problem oftechnical staff innovative behavior in Q company. It is made some suggestion thathow to establish incentive mechanism of technical staff innovative behavior based onthe three incentive factors extracted by data analysis.
