With the rapid development of economy and society today, innovation is becomingthe key factor of enterprise competitiveness and team have been widely applied in theorganizations because of its incomparable superiority in innovation. That is the reasonwhy scholars are studying the methods of improving team innovation performance.Relevant literatures have pointed out that the leadership style and shared leadershipare important factors of innovation performance. So far, domestic and foreign scholarshave little studied in how team leadership and team shared leadership affects teamcreativity, and therefore studying the relationships among team leadership, team sharedleadership and team creativity is very necessary and meaningful.In this paper, we define the concepts of team leadership, team shared leadership andinnovation performance on the basis of the relevant literatures, and divide teamleadership into four dimensions which include directive leadership, transactionalleadership, transformational leadership and empowering leadership. Then, we analyzedthe relationships between them, and according to these we have established a conceptualmodel and propose the relevant theoretical assumptions.According to above study, we conducted questionnaire survey mainly in Xi’an byreferring to some sophisticated scales, and then we retrieved and screened446questionnaires, after using the SPSS18.0to analyze the reliability and the validity of thedata. It is confirmed that the scale has high reliability and validity, and the model issuitable, and then we further test the proposed hypothesis by correlation analysis andmultiple regression analysis.We conclude the conclusion as follows:(1)Directive leadership and transactionalleadership are not helpful for the formation of shared leadership atmosphere,transformational leadership and empowering leadership are conducive to the formationof shared leadership team atmosphere;(2)Team shared leadership will help enhancethe performance of team innovation;(3)Directive leadership and transactionalleadership team are not conducive to enhancing innovation performance,transformational leadership and empowering leadership are conducive to enhancinginnovation performance;(4)Shared leadership team has played part of the intermediaryrole between the directive leadership and team innovation performance, the team shared leadership also played part of the intermediary role between the transactional leadershipand innovation performance of the team.Finally, the paper also indicates that the theoretical value, practical significance,limitations and future prospects of the study.
