Research On Food Safety Problems And Its Countermeasures In Jintan

Food is the important strategic stuff related to the people’s livelihood and nationaleconomic security, and the strategic foundation of the entire security system of thewhole nation and local area.Food security has important implications for the protectionof economic development, social stability and people’s happiness.On the basis of summarizing the related research results about the food security inthe context of the process of urbanization, under the background of Jintan’s urbanizationdevelopment on the current stage, this article conducts a research on the issue of Jintanfood security from the theory of public goods, crisis management theory, strategicmanagement theory and other public administration theory.In the author’s opinion, with the acceleration of urbanization, rigid populationgrowth, the improvement of the consumption level, and economic development needand the turbulence of peripheral food market supply and demand,the pressure Jintan’sfood supply faces will gradually increase and balancing the food supply and demandwill become more and more difficult in the future, and there is potential risk on the issueof food security. On the basis of summarizing Jintan’s food security issues such asbuilding evaluation index system, as well as the SWOT analysis on the futuredevelopment, the author puts forth coping strategy to handle food crisis and ganranteethe food security of the local region with the reseach results of crisismanagement,including:scientific utilizing land, coordinating relations and concentratingon crucial points, establishing and improving comprehensive food policy;strengtheninginfrastructure construction,improving food reserve capacity;strengthening foodinformalization construction,improving food management level; accelerating foodenterprises restructuring projects,upgrading the leading driving ability,acceleratingmodern food logistics system construction.
