Research On Project Performance Appraisal Of Z Company Under The Low Cost Strategy

Large-scale construction enterprises benefit from projects. Confronted theincreasingly fierce internal and external market competition, how to improve projectmanagement and then to enhance efficiency of the project and the enterprise has became amain problem for the managers. Along with the high-speed development of themanagement evaluation method, the traditional performance appraisal system based oncost, schedule, quality and safety has been not suited to the need of large-scale constructionenterprises. Therefore, to investigate how to evaluate the projects for the large-scaleconstruction enterprises scientifically is a crucial problem.Due to a series of features such as no mobility, long periodicity and productionmethods diversity, the project has difficulty in performance appraisal. Accordingly, on thebasis of analysis and summary of the present performance appraisal situation of domesticlarge-scale construction enterprises, and concerning the feathers of the enterprise Z, thispaper reconstructs the project performance appraisal system from financial, customer,operation and learning respectively; analytic hierarchy process was used to give theappropriate weight to the reconstructed indicators. The data and materials were got fromthe field study on a project of the enterprise Z. This paper also tested the reconstructedperformance appraisal system, evaluated its application effects, and put forward theprecautions when the Balanced Score Card (BSC) is used in project performanceevaluation.The study indicates that the project performance appraisal constructed in the papercan evaluate the project achievement more scientifically and completely. Therefore, thesystem provides the guidance and reference for the performance appraisal of large-scaleconstruction enterprises.
