Along with our country entering into the era of new normal economic,the operation of Chinese enterprises in the global economy is gradually accelerating.In order to maintain the competitive advantage in the environment featured with competition and challenge,the enterprise must rely on the effective human resource management,among which the performance management is one of the key factors to win the competitive advantage.At present,in addition to the lack of competitive advantage,the domestic construction enterprises also suffer from the low overall quality of enterprise employees and labor rates.For Z construction company,a domestic construction enterprise,in the face of such business environment,how to adjust strategy,choose the right approach of performance appraisal and meet the demand for the upgrade of strategic transformation,has become a subject in need of urgent study.By utilizing the method of case analysis of Z construction company as the research object,this dissertation points out that the performance appraisal is an important management measure and tool of human resource management for the healthy and steady development of the modern enterprise.For the enterprises to establish themselves in the fierce competition in the market on a long-term basis,they must establish a set of complete performance evaluation system,which will not only help enterprises to improve the human resource management level,but also improve the enterprise employees' job performance,and improve the labor productivity of the whole enterprise.As an important tool for the development and transformation adopted by the enterprises,the performance appraisal not only serves as a baton to achieve the strategic objectives,but also encourages the enterprises to ensure efficient and sustainable operation.Therefore,for the domestic construction enterprises,especially the construction enterprises in the process of strategic transformation and upgrading,to rearrange and design performance appraisal index system has already become an urgent problem.Firstly the dissertation analyses the status quo of the performance appraisal of Z construction company,the existing problems and the reasons thereof.Then starting from the main problems in the performance evaluation of Z construction company,it redesigns the performance appraisal of Z construction company with the balanced score card,devises the balanced score card performance appraisal system,and finally builds the performance evaluation index system together with its supporting measures consistent with Z construction company organization process.The paper proposed that the Balanced Scorecard as a strategic management tool,which closely linked with the corporate strategy,can effectively improve the management level of the organization,and in the Z construction company to promote is practicable.In this paper,the content and the key of performance appraisal is to evaluate the behavior ofemployees through a reasonable and effective performance appraisal system,so as to achieve the target of improving the labor productivity and achieving the strategic goal of the enterprise.The paper together with its research conclusions will provide the similar type of enterprises with beneficial reference for their performance appraisal.
