This article takes American Federal Express (FedEx) as the research object. In the21st century, Chinese express market has grown into the fastest rate in growing and the largest potential in development emerging markets,with the rapid development of electronic commerce. FedEx will focus business development to China. Although the FedEx has achieved great success in the European and American Express industry market, but Chinese market has its unique particularity. FedEx how to choose becomes the key of success when it comes China facing the new politics, economic,culture,social environment and new competitors.This article makes a detailed comparison, explanation and discussion on external environment, internal environment, the problems in development and the opponent competitors of FedEx facing with the method of field research, literature review, comparative analysis and other research,using the theory of competitive strategy theory, five forces model, PEST analysis and SWOT analysis model.Based on detailed analysis, according to the direction, goal, means of competition of FedEx in operating and development in China market.This article proposes differentiation strategy and puts forward the corresponding implementation measures according to these strategic objectives.In this article,I present some development strategies and measures for FedEx in Chinese market.It helps FedEx give full play to their strengths and avoid weaknesses and threats, and constantly improve their own strength and market competitiveness.This provides reference and direction for FedEx to achieve further development in China.This article makes the theory and the reality combine together and then makes the research more practical significance.At the same time it brings some beneficial enlightenment to the development of Chinese private express enterprises.
