Fed Ex has not increased much market share in domestic express market after many years' effort. In the fierce competitive domestic market, what kind of measures should be taken by Fed Ex to increase market share?The thesis will analyze FedEx's competitive strategies in domestic express market by SWOT. A set of competitive strategies that cope with fierce competition in domestic express market will be put forward after referring to lots of literatures.There are six parts in the thesis. Chapter One is introduction of the thesis. Chapter Two is the concept and methods on the thesis writing. Chapter Three is the case description of Fed Ex. Through related literature study, fully analysis the current situation of China domestic express market, has been done in this thesis. Chapter Four is the analysis about Fed Ex's competition in China domestic express market. The potential development direction will be dig out. Chapter Five is the suggestions for Fed Ex's competitive strategies in China domestic express market. Firstly, Fed Ex should enhance on the core competitive power by attracting and cultivating its own talents. Through the high quality talent, Fed Ex can provide excellent service to its customer. Secondly, Fed Ex should strengthen its competitiveness in domestic express market by integrating and optimizing resources. By integrating and optimizing resources, Fed Ex can be the low-cost service provider in China domestic express market. Thirdly, Fed Ex should enhance its competitiveness by differentiating service,developing new market and improving its service system.To sum up, Fed Ex should take the following measures to increase its competitiveness in domestic express market. Fed Ex should make use of its advantages and opportunities to eliminate its disadvantages and threats in market competition. Fed Ex must make greater effort on cultivating talents, integrating resources and creating diverse services. Fed Ex can survive in fierce competition and grasp much market share after carrying out the above measures.
