The Study On The County Economy Of Xiangxi Tujia And Miao Autonomous Prefecture

County economy is the smallest administrative division of regional economy,which is the basic unit of the national economy. Through the study of literatureabroad and at home, combining with the actual situation in Xiangxi Tujia and MiaoAutonomous Prefecture, the economic development of the county in Xiangxi wasstudied. And according to operational and nonlinear priciple, availability and integrity,county economic evaluation system of Xiangxi was established on the basis ofdomestic and foreigh economic evaluation index system. The author selected14indicators from five aspects of based regional economy, regional economic strength,regional finance, people’s living standards and regional infrastructure by means ofcomprehensive evaluation index method. In application of the four-sectional data ofXiangxi in2001,2005,2009and2013, based economic index, regional economicstrength index, regional finance index, index of people’s living standards andregional infrastructure index of Xiangxi were calculated by weighting, whichachieving comprehensive county economy evaluation index of Xiangxi. The resultsshowed that: the based economic index of Yongshun and Longshan was higher, andGuzhang is minimum as the same period, ranking remaining stable; the index ofregional economic strength of Guzhang was overall lower; regional finance index ofeach countries was steadily growing, and in the county economic developmentprocess, fund is relatively adequate; higher standard of living index counties wereJishou, Fenghuang, Yongshun and Longshan, and that of Guzhang was lower.Regional infrastructure index of Jishou, Longshan, Yongshun is large, and that ofFenghuang, Guzhang and Baojing were lower, and regional infrastructure index ofLuxi decreased significantly; comprehensive evaluation index was closely related toindustrial structure. According to the results of empirical research, the measures toimprove the understanding of country economy, reinforce the foundation of countryeconomy development, support advantage industry, improve the supporting facilitieswere made. This paper had some research achievements, but there exsitsshortcomings, for example index system was not comprehensive, and data lives short.
