The Enterprise Cainozoic Era Staff Works The Values Research

As the80s and90s, the new generation employees, is becoming the main body of the enterprise staff, the relevant questions about management, motivation, development of the new generation employees gets more and more attention of the academia and the business. Accordingly, the characteristics of the new generation employees on the work values presented have also been a hot topic. Work values affect employee’s work motivation and behavior. The effective management motivation and development of new generation employee cannot leave the understanding of the work values.This paper studies the new generation employee’s work values from two sides of commonness and individuality. The commonness is reflected in the similar factor structure, and the personality is reflected in the differences between individuals or categories. This paper, through exploratory factor analysis, finds that the new generation employee’s work values is the concept of five dimensions:social identity, organizational support, intrinsic rewards, leisure concept, altruistic values; through the analysis of variance and parameter inspection, we find that the work value of the new generation employee differs among the classification based on demographic variables; including:for the new generation employee with different years of working, their work value differs in the social identity, the organizational support, and concept of intrinsic rewards; furthermore, the unmarried new generation employees compared with the married, the differences are reflected in the three dimensions talked above; while, the only child with and without differs on the value tendency of leisure concept. Based on the findings, this paper puts forward some corresponding management advice from the employee motivation, leadership, and corporate culture etc.
