The Study On The Existing Problems In The Rural Tourism Of Nanning City Based On Tourists’ Perception

As the rapid development of social economy in our country, living conditions of citizens have been improved constantly and people’s views on consumption have been changed gradually. Meanwhile, the development of tourism industry is moving forward at the high speed, therefore, the rural tourism with the characteristic of participation, experience and original status can exactly satisfy the various tourism demands of people. However, whether or not the current actual developing pattern of rural tourism is complying with rural tourism under the view of tourists’perception, and whether or not tourists’ demand for rural tourism is matching with the function providing from rural tourism, which are the major points studied in this thesis. In addition, measures have been put forward accordingly on existing problems in rural tourism from tourists’perception, which is the purpose of studying in this theirs.The rural tourism of Nanning city was taken as an example in this theses, at the very beginning, the current status of development of rural tourism in Nanning city was introduced in the respect of resources, social economy, sources of tourists, model of developing system and SWOT analysis; from the value of tourists’ perception, some scenic spots in Nanning city was selected as the objects for study in this thesis, on which the investigation and analysis was carried out in respect of facility, environment, products and services which include25specific indexes. The analysis on tourists’ satisfaction was carried out under the each index of rural tourism of Nanning city through data studying and distribution of questionnaire for tourists. Further, there are the shortage of infrastructure, imperfect beautification for surrounding environment, the serious product similarity, lacking of professional staff and improper propaganda in the current rural tourism of Nanning city.In the view of existing problems form of tourists’ perception, the analysis on reasons causing the problems was carried out through site inspection and semi-structured interview with tourists, which have concluded that the shortage of construction funds, outdated ideas, lacking of professional personnel, poor linkage of industrial chain and delay of industrial reform and update are the main reasons causing the existing problems in rural tourism of Nanning city. In addition, a feasible strategy on optimization and integration of rural tourism in Nanning City has been pointed out in combination with the views mentioned above. The conclusion of this thesis includes strengthening the construction of infrastructure, exploring resources, improving brand effects, enhancing cultivation of talents, promoting propaganda and marketing, strengthening assistance and guide of government and expanding funding channels, etc.
